Members of IPAMCO accepted 8 cows from the Department of Agriculture under the Animal Dispersal Program

Members of Inyam Pintuan Asbang Multi-Purpose Cooperative (IPAMCO) gratefully accepted the 8 cows from the Department of Agriculture under the Animal Dispersal Program through DA-RFO XI Livestock Staff Bryan Paano in collaboration with the Provincial Veterinary Office and Municipal Agriculture, which was held at Brgy. Gym, Lower Marber, Matanao, Davao del Sur.

 

Board Member Atty. Carmelo Delos Cientos III spearheaded the turnover of the animals which was attended by Chief Barangay Eduardo Garcia, OIC Provincial Veterinarian Catherine Resurreccion, IPAMCO Chairperson Eustaquio Pasalo Jr., cooperative members, and others.

 

On the same day, 8 carabaos were also turned over to members of the Rizal Farmers Association (RIZAFA) at the Municipal Agriculture Office, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, spearheaded by Mayor Quirina T. Sarte and Captain Danilo Soberano.

 

Municipal Agriculturist Zaldy Sumangil, SB Committee on Agriculture Fe Lao, Municipal Livestock Technician Lito Ayap, RIZAFA Chairman Rolando Calisay, and members of the association graced the event with their presence.

 

The program is part of the National Government’s Livestock Program, which is being carried out by the Davao del Sur Provincial Government under Governor Douglas Ra. Cagas’ administration and implemented by the Provincial Veterinary Office for farmers who raise livestock here in the province.
