Governor Douglas Cagas granted Livelihood Assistance to three Legitimate Organizations

Governor Douglas Cagas has granted livelihood assistance to three(3) legitimate organizations in the province of Davao del Sur.

The governor signed the documents in his office as evidence that a total of P525,000.00 worth of livelihood assistance had been approved for the following associations:
ย 
1. OFW Group for Development (HOAK)
Upper San Agustin, Digos City, Davao del Sur
Meat Processing and Marketing – P200,000.00
61 beneficiaries
ย 
2. Iman Consumer Cooperative
Purok 9 Luna St., Trends Aplaya, Digos City
Meat Shop – P125,000.00
ย 
3. Balasiao Kasaglabat Association (BAKASA)
Purok 3, Balasiao, Kiblawan, D/Sur
Micro-Enterprise Project – P200,000.00
ย 
60 beneficiaries

“Even if there is a pandemic, this initiative will continue because it is all about our lives and the future of our children. We will fight whatever the challenge is. We fight because that’s how the world works. There isn’t a single story in the world that isn’t full of trials and struggles. For me, all of our problems have something to do with God,” Governor Cagas said.

This week, the Provincial Government under the Cagas Administration approved a total of six associations to receive livelihood assistance worth nearly 1.3 million pesos.
