Davao del Sur — Mapasalamaton si Carmelita Pelayo sa Haven of Hope Orphanage Philippines, Inc. sa ayuda nga gihatag sa Kagamhanang Probinsiyal pinaagi sa buhatan sa Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO). Mismong si PSWDO Officer Geraldine Lano ang nangulo sa paghatod sa duha ka sakong bugas, kinarton nga de lata, ug uban pa sa ilang buhatan nga nahimutang sa Superhighway, Dawis, Digos City niadtong Abril 2, 2019.

Nasayran nga nilagda og Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang Haven of Hope Orphanage Philippines, Inc. ug Provincial Government of Davao del Sur nga kung diin ang Orphanage motabang ug muatiman sa mga kabataan nga gi-abandona ug gipasagdan na sa mga ginikanan samtang ang Kagamhanang Probinsiyal ang mohatag og binulan nga food assistance.

Walay pagduha-duha nga nilagda si Gov. Dodo Cagas sa MOA nga nagtumong masustentohan ang mga kabataan sa orphanage ug mahatagan og ikaduhang panimalay nga kapuy-an.

Rice and Canned Goods, Delivered to Haven of Hope Orphanage

Davao del Sur — Ms. Carmelita Pelayo of Haven of Hope Orphanage Philippines, Inc., was grateful for the support of the Provincial Government through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO). PSWDO Officer Geraldine Lano spearheaded the transport of 2 sacks of rice, canned goods, and other items to their location in Superhighway, Dawis, Digos City last April 2, 2019.

Prior to this, the Haven of Hope Orphanage Philippines, Inc. and Provincial Government of Davao del Sur has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) wherein the orphanage will help and foster the abandoned youth while the Provincial Government will provide food assistance monthly.

Gov. Douglas Cagas undoubtedly signed the MOA to give assistance and shelter to the youth in the orphanage.
Currently, the orphanage accommodates 19 abandoned youths. (PIO|Marylie Noran)
