Hinabang nga Bugas ug De Lata, Gipanghatag sa Matanao
Davao del Sur –Gipadayon karong adlawa ang pagpanghatag sa mga hinabang nga bugas ug de lata ngadto sa nagkalain-laing barangay nga biktima sa hulaw. Gipangunahan sa mga personahe sa Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) ug Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and maong kalihokan. Karong adlawa, Abril 3, 2019, nakabenipisyo ang 2,008 ka pamilya sulod sa onom ka barangay sa lungsod sa Matanao, nga mao ang mga mosunod: 169 ka pamilya sa Barangay Bagumbayan, 284 ka pamilya sa Barangay San Jose, 682 ka pamilya sa Barangay Buri, 196 ka pamilya sa Barangay Langaan, 515 ka pamilya sa Barangay La Suerte ug 162 ka pamilya sa Barangay Tibongbong. Kahinumdumang gipailawum sa State of calamity ang Davao del Sur niadtong Marso 12, 2019. Tungod niini, gigamit ang Quick Response Trust Fund aron makatunol og hinabang sa nagkalain-laing barangay nga aduna’y mga mag-uumang labing naapektohan sa hulaw. (PIO|Dianne Depalubos)

Davao del Sur – The distribution of rice and canned goods was continued today to different barangays who were the victims of the recent drought. The distribution has been spearheaded by the personnel from the Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO). Today, April 3, 2019, the beneficiaries were 2,008 families from six barangays of Matanao, which are the following: 169 families from Barangay Bagumbayan, 284 families from Barangay San Jose, 682 families from Barangay Buri, 196 families from Barangay Langaan, 515 families from Barangay La Suerte and 162 families from Barangay Tibongbong. It can be recalled that Davao del Sur was declared under the State of Calamity last March 12, 2019. Because of this, the Quick Respond Trust Fund was used to extend help to different barangays, especially those with farmers who were the primary victim of the said drought. (PIO|Dianne Depalubos)
