At about 2pm today, the duly elected governor stepped in at the capitol lobby and in his short speech, he told the huge crowd “ My freedom today is God’s work. Davao del Sur – Governor Douglas Cagas has joined the capitol employees in the flag-raising ceremony yesterday. It was his first Monday convocation as a returning governor after being in jail for nearly 2 years for a murder case. He bailed out last week.
In his speech during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony with capitol employees, Governor Douglas Cagas expressed dismay over the status of the Davao Sur Sports Complex, particularly the swimming pool area and the Coliseum. Davao del Sur – The province of Davao del Sur is a recent recipient of the farm machine assistance from DA Regional Field Office XI. Handed over to the LGU were rice threshers, hand tractors with engine, sets of rice combine harvester, knapsack sprayers, tilapia fingerlings, peanut seeds and many others.

Davao del Sur – The provincial government here recently recognized a capitol employee for her hard work and contributions having been in the government service for 42 years. Governor Douglas Cagas announced that the LGU will give Felicitas Yap a cash amounting to Php50,000 as a reward for her loyalty and hard work in the government service.

Balutakay and Guihing Central Elementary School in Hagonoy town, respectively on September 9 and September 16. The medical services will also reach Brgy. San Miguel in Digos City on September 23.

DAVSUR’s PROVINCIAL RETIREMENT AWARD PROGRAM CREATED
Davao del Sur – An employee’s contribution in the government service is a complementary mechanism that can develop a framework for a mutually beneficial and harmonious relationship.
The provincial government of Davao del Sur is giving recognition and award to employees commensurate to the number of years they have served. A loyalty bonus ranging from Php 10,000 up to Php 50,000 will be given similarly to those who will be retiring from the government service as they end their tour of duties.
In a recent Monday convocation program, one Rosalinda Cacafranca of the Provincial Health Office who has served for 45 years was given an award of Php 50,000 for her meritorious, proficient, dedicated and unselfish efforts towards public health service. In the days to come, there will be more recipients to this laudable program.
Dubbed as the Provincial Retirement Award Program, is the first of its kind that happens only in the present stewardship of Governor Douglas Cagas where employees are given due recognition to their contributions in the government service.
