The Office for Special Programs shall be an effective and efficient arms of Provincial Governor’s Office to promote, disseminate, facilitate and bring the Flag-ship programs and services such as infrastructure, health, education, livelihood, water resource, social services, agriculture, relocation site, investment and promotion, environment, industrialization, peace and order and tourism closer to the people – through its socialized approach, continuing education and communication that will promote peace and sustainable development in Davao del Sur.
To make everyone (resident of Davao del Sur) feels that they are important and loved by giving them equal access to programs and services with compassion and them empower them to become more productive individual or organization.

Another Municipality was given a chance to receive 400 Drug testing kits from MAPALAD. Mr.Francisco Ray Banlasan, Program Coordinator of MAPALAD handed the Drug Testing Kits to the Focal Person of the Municipality of Hagonoy, Davao del Sur Mr.Christopher Bantulan.
Amidst the Pandemic COVID-19, Governor Douglas Cagas still help fight against drugs as MAPALAD Program extends its support through giving Drug Testing Kits to the Municipalities and City of Davao del Sur.
The MAPALAD Program headed by it’s Program Coordinator Francisco Ray Banlasan together with the Livelihood Program Manager Reynel Dalapo handed over a total of 175 Drug testing kits to Miss Eden Joy C. Bellosa, Focal Person of Padada, Davao del Sur.
The MAPALAD Program remains true to its advocacy to help fight against DRUGS under the leadership of our very own Governor Douglas Ra. Cagas, which is the PADAC Chairperson in Davao del Sur.
3RD QUARTERLY PADAC MEETING 09/30/2020
DILG, PDEA, PNP AND THE REPRESENTATIVES OF DIFFERENT MUNICIPALITIES WITHIN DAVAO DEL SUR ATTENDED THE 3RD QUARTERLY PADAC MEETING HELD AT RALOTA HALL, DAVAO DEL SUR COLISEUM. THE MEETING WAS PRESIDED BY OUR VERY OWN VICE GOVERNOR MARC DOUGLAS CHAN CAGAS.
The MAPALAD Program conducted a virtual competition of SPOKEN WORD POETRY last august wherein participants from different Municipalities of Davao del Sur submitted their entry. Out of 22 contestants there are 3 lucky winners who are chosen to get the cash prizes. Governor Douglas Cagas handed of over their Cash Prizes with their Certificates.
Rodceal Maliano from Tuban, Sta.Cruz got the 1st Place and received a Cash Prize of Php 5,000.00
Judy Ann Jenilla from Magsaysay, Davao del Sur got the 2nd Place with a Cash Prize of Php 3,000.00
Krizzia Gonzales also from Magsaysay, Davao del Sur got the 3rd Place and a Cash Prize of Php 2,000.00
With the Eagerness of our Governor Douglas Ra. Cagas to help the youth of Davao del Sur to avoid using illegal drugs in this time of pandemic, the MAPALAD Program came up with the idea of facilitating a virtual competition since it’s strictly prohibited to hava a social gathering.
