It is a big dream come true for the homeless of Barangay Asinan in Matanao after the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur provided a P2-Million worth of relocation site for 179 families.

Governor Yvonne Roรฑa Cagas spearheaded the ground breaking and cutting of ribbon on Friday, February 3, 2023, of the said project which was materialized through the initiative of the late Governor Douglas Cagas.

“Today marks the realization of Governor Dodo Cagas’ wish for us to have a place to live on and the beginning of our actual residency of that location,” said Helen Tarona, a beneficiary, as she expressed her sincere thanks to the late governor and current administration.

Matanao Vice Mayor Irick Agbon, Asinan Elementary School teachers and pupils, and RSDP Manager Fidel Franco graced the activity.
