PSWDO Hosts Monday Convocation
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), headed by Mrs. Geraldine Lano, hosted the Monday Convocation Program today, November 28, 2022, at the Davao del Sur Coliseum, Gov. Douglas Ra. Cagas Sports and Business Center in Matti, Digos City.
During the activity, the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur signed a deed of usufruct allowing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region XI to build a provincial office in the capitol compound.

The Municipality of Malalag also received a check worth P2-Million from the provincial government’s calamity fund to help those devastated by the recent landslide and flash floods.

On the other hand, a P20,000 cash and a certificate of recognition for their great contribution to the Province of Davao del Sur were given to the seven (7) Barangay Population Volunteers Retirees. A construction materials worth P75,000 was also turned over to the 39th Infantry Battalion for Peace and Development and Alternative Learning System’s (PDAL) program. A livelihood assistance worth P200,000 was also received by the Sibulan IP Youth Association of Barangay Sibulan, Sta Cruz for their Bagobo-Tagabawa Attire and Accessories For Rent project.

Lastly, Governor Yvonne Roรฑa Cagas administered the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Youth Council.
