Provincial School Board Held its First Quarterly Meeting Today at the Governor’s Office

The Provincial School Board held its first quarterly meeting today at the governor’s office. As Chairman of the Board, Governor Douglas Cagas presided over the meeting.

 

It was attended by members of the board led by DepEd Davao del Sur Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Nelson Lopez, Board Member Erwin Llanos as Chairman of the Committee on Education of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and others.

 

The meeting widely discussed school development programs and projects throughout the province.

 

The board approved a total of P25,608,500 worth of requests from public schools. Other DepEd needs, such as honoraria for volunteer teachers and expenses for continuing to teach children under the new normal, were also approved.
