Turnover of the Perimeter Fence with Gate Project of the Davao del Sur Provincial Government to Igpit National High School
The perimeter fence with gate project of the Davao del Sur Provincial Government would improve the safety of students and teachers, as well as the Igpit National High School’s property.
Governor Marc Cagas spearheaded the turnover of the abovementioned project, which has a length of 210 meters, from the provincial government’s Special Education Fund (SEF) for P1,998,000.00, which was received by the teachers, led by School Principal I Noba J. Rubion and PTA President Renato E. Cabahug.
Present during the activity were Assistant School Division Superintendent Basilio Mana-ay, Chief of Staff of the Vice Governor Willy Palad, barangay officials led by Captain Flaviano Hermoso, Jr., and others.
Governor Cagas informed the attendees that COVID-19 vaccination for ages 12-17 has already begun, and the provincial government has started sending letters to different schools, through the Provincial Health Office, in order to increase the number of people who have been vaccinated. As a result, classes might return to face-to-face next year.
