Teachers at Ramon Magsaysay Central Elementary School (RMCES), led by School Principal III Mario Andales, were grateful when the Davao del Sur Provincial Government turned over the Feeding Center to them today.
ย
Governor Douglas Cagas spearheaded the turnover of the P490,000.00 Feeding Center with a Washing Area and Comfort Rooms for Male and Female. “I don’t believe in extending money or projects that are not very valuable. What matters to me is what is needed to fill in the gaps in the school,” Governor Cagas said in his message.

School Principal Andales said that their students eat everywhere they can, even though they used to have face-to-face classes, but their hopes of getting a feeding center for their school have now come true. Mr. Andales also thanked Governor Cagas and Congresswoman Mercedes Cagas for helping her finish her studies and get to where she is now through their scholarship program.
ย
“It is indeed a heartwarming and very fulfilling to be able to witness the once upon a time, only a vision but now has become a reality. Thank you so much Governor Cagas for making our dreams come true,” RMCES Master Teacher II Geneveil V. Subtiniente said.
