IPAMCO held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of their Dairy Processing Plant & Marketing Outlet in Barangay Asbang, Matanao

Vaccination Campaign Program for Health Workers at Private Hospitals in Digos City, Matanao, and RHU Malalag

Members and officials of Inyam Pintuan Asbang Multi-purpose Cooperative (IPAMCO) held the groundbreaking ceremony of their Dairy Processing Plant & Marketing Outlet, yesterday, Monday, in Barangay Asbang, Matanao, Davao del Sur.
 
The Philippine Carabao Center, based in USM Kabacan North Cotabato, funded the P1.3 million project with the support of the Department of Agriculture, the Davao del Sur Provincial Government, LGU Matanao, and others. The overall cost of the project will be about 14 million pesos, which includes the 50 carabaos and processing building equipment with complete accessories.
 
On behalf of Governor Douglas Cagas, Provincial Agriculturist Raul Fueconcillo and Acting Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Catherine Resurreccion attended the said activity. Joel Mamac ( Region XI Focal Person of Committee on Agriculture Chairperson Senator Cynthia Villar), USM Center Director Dr. Benjamin Basilio, Matanao Mayor Vincent Fernandez along with his Vice Mayor Alfredo Panerio and several municipal councilors, IPAMCO Chairman Eustaquio Pasalo Jr., General Manager of Sta. Catalina Cooperative Wendel Amoronon, area residents led by Asbang Barangay Captain Gerwin Salad, and others graced the event with their presence.
 
The project’s beneficiaries, who are IPAMCO members and officials, are pleased with the excellent project that has been given to them, which is of great help for sustainable livelihood.
