Ribbon Cutting of Capitol Tennis Courts and Training Center and Athlete’s Dormitory within the Davao del Sur Sports Complex

The recently built and opened Capitol Tennis Courts and Training Center and Athlete’s Dormitory within the Davao del Sur Sports Complex is another project the Province of Davao del Sur will be proud of. The tennis courts with clubhouse cost P10 million, while the dormitory, a similar project of Congresswoman Mercedes Cagas, also costs P10 million.

 

The event, attended by tennis players and numerous tennis clubs throughout the province, was spearheaded by Gov. Douglas Cagas and Vice Gov. Marc Cagas.

 

Also present and played tennis was Peter Jun Simon, one of the famous PBA players who is a close friend of Vice Gov. Marc Cagas.

 

The said facility consists of two clay courts, a concrete court, grandstand, lobby, male and female comfort rooms with lockers.

 

There are only a few places here in Mindanao with clay courts.
