CROCODILE HILL MOUNTAIN RUN

Nearly 300 entrants participated in the 5-kilometer mountain run on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Crocodile Hill, Punta Piape in Padada, Davao del Sur. The participants were not only from Padada but also from Marbel, Gensan, Sarangani, Davao City, Digos City, Sta. Cruz, and other places.

 

The 5-kilometer run began at the Banana Chips Factory in Upper Limonzo and finished at the top of Crocodile Hill where families, friends, co-workers, children, and adults enthusiastically participated.

 

The said event was a success through the joint efforts of Eightensity, Padada Trekkers Club, LGU Padada, CIDG Davao del Sur, PNP Padada, and other groups. Governor Yvonne Cagas and Congressman John Tracy Cagas were also among the principal sponsors.

 

Also in attendance were Mayor Frashale Guerrero, Board Member Mark Joel Gallardo, Board Member Prince Amado Razonable, Councilor Emilio Libradores, former Councilor Honeyboy delos Cientos, and others.

The event is part of the celebration of the 73rd Araw ng Padada.
