DavSur Kicks Off Christmas Festival 2022
The spirit of Christmas is around every corner of the Davao del Sur Capitol Compound after it was transformed into a Christmas Village. On December 3, 2022, on the occasion of the 79th birthday of the late Gov. Douglas Ralota Cagas, the official lighting of the Christmas Village was made.

Hundreds of Davsuranons flocked to the Capitol Compound to witness the rare event. Families, friends, workmates, both young and old, left the comfort of their to homes, to experience the yuletide ambience, offered by the Provincial Government.

Performers from different schools and groups showcased their extraordinary talents before and after the lighting ceremony spearheaded by Gov. Yvonne Roรฑa Cagas, along with SAPG Marc Cagas and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

The event also marks the opening of the Christmas Festivals that will culminate on December 20, 2022.
