DSSC FIRST PRESIDENT, TAKES OATH

Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, who has been president of Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) for more than a year, took his oath today, March 17, 2022.

 

The investiture of Dr. Fuentes, which took place in the Davao del Sur Coliseum in front of officials from several government agencies and state universities and colleges (SUCs), was a grand event.

 

Governor Marc Cagas attended the ceremony to show his support for Dr. Augie and the entire DSSC community. In his statement, the governor thanked his parents for their contributions to the creation of DSSC as the province’s first state college.

 

Dr. Augie was appointed president of the DSSC on September 28, 2020, but due to the pandemic, he was unable to take his oath.

 

Investiture is the usual tradition in large schools, where their elected presidents publicly take an oath and honored.
