Governor Douglas Cagas Commended the PCG for its Impressive Accomplishment Report

Governor Douglas Cagas commended the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) headed by Station Commander Restituto P. Cancio Jr. for its impressive accomplishment report during the Monday Convocation Program this morning at the Davao del Sur Coliseum, Matti, Digos City.

 

The governor praised PCG workers for their efforts in protecting the marine environment from illegal activities such as illegal fishing, smuggling, and others.

 

Governor Cagas, on the other hand, confirmed that vaccinations are still ongoing and that all frontline staff at the Provincial Hospital have been vaccinated. Frontline workers in private hospitals will also be vaccinated starting today. In his concluding message, the governor was pleased with the decrease in the number of active COVID-19 cases in the province and continue to urge citizens to follow the minimum public health protocols.
