NATIONAL SWIMMING COMPETITION HELD AT DAVAO DEL SUR

Swimmers from different parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao gathered at the Davao del Sur Olympic-size Swimming Pool to compete for the 2022 Philippine Swimming Inc (PSI) Long Course Gand Prix Qualifying Series. No less than the PSI President, Lani Velasco, along with the new Philippine National Team Member Kayla Sanchez graced the finals held today, September 11, 2022.

PSI is the sole national governing body of aquatic sports in the Philippines, and members are eligible to represent the country in international swimming competitions.

The 3-day event (September 9-11, 2022) is yet another milestone for Davao del Sur’s quest for sports tourism promotion. It also testifies that Governor Douglas Ralota Cagas Sports and Business Complex in Matti, Digos City is now one of the most sought-after venue for sports and other events.
