70 displaced workers in Hagonoy, Davao del Sur, thanked Governor Marc Cagas for prioritizing them for the DOLE TUPAD program

Seventy displaced workers in Hagonoy, Davao del Sur, thanked Governor Marc Cagas for prioritizing them for the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker (TUPAD) program, which is being implemented by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur.

Rolly Impas, JD, MBA, LPT, led the payout activity this morning at the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, Provincial Capitol, Matti, Digos City, where each beneficiary received a โ‚ฑ5,940.00.

The current basis for this assistance is working as job orders in LGU Hagonoy without pay from January 3 to 21 this year.

One of the recipients, Nestor Castro of Hagonoy’s Barangay Sinayawan, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the provincial government, through Governor Cagas, for providing them with the opportunity to benefit from this program, which is a big help, especially for their basic needs.
