Forty-Seven Units of Motorized Banca were Turned Over to the Baybay Malalag Moro Farmers and Fisherfolks Association

Forty-seven units of motorized banca were turned over to the Baybay Malalag Moro Farmers and Fisherfolks Association, today, at Barangay Baybay, Malalag, Davao del Sur.
 
The gillnet fishing project was funded under the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) – PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNan (PAMANA) Program, implemented by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur under the administration of Gov. Doulas Cagas, and is a livelihood support to GRP MNLF 1996 Peace Advocate.
 
Gov. Cagas spearheaded the turnover ceremony which was graced by Municipal Administrator of Malalag Mr. Paul Yuro (on behalf of Malalag Mayor Peter Paul Valentin), the members of the association, barangay officials, and residents around the venue.
 
Association President Datu Wilfredo Lamundo Jeopli expressed his gratitude to the Cagas Administration for the early Christmas gift they received. (PIO|ZFD)
