Regional Director of the Department of Tourism, visited the Mt. Apo Agri-Eco Tourism Park in Barangay Kapatagan

Ms. Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DoT), went to visit the Mt. Apo Agri-Eco Tourism Park (formerly Lake Cometa) in Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City, to assess its current state.

She was accompanied by the Provincial Tourism Officer Mr. Kervin Elijay, City Tourism Officer Ms. Pearl Demafeliz, and Congressional District Officer Sir Irick Agbon.

The park, which was conceptualized by Congresswoman Mercedes Cagas, is currently under construction. According to Sir Agbon, more than a hundred million pesos from the national government have already been poured into this project thanks to the effort of the congresswoman.

This project is a legacy of Congresswoman Cagas to the people of Davao del Sur. Tourists will undoubtedly enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the variety of leisure activities once it is completed.

Visitors to this location will have a one-of-a-kind experience as they take in the beauty of Mt. Apo while still enjoying a cool atmosphere.
