PLGU Davao del Sur Turned Over Nearly 6 Million Peso Evacuation Center in Barangay Bagumbayan, Matanao

The people of Barangay Bagumbayan in Matanao received a well-polished and high-quality infrastructure project from the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur today, March 18, 2022.

 

Governor Marc Cagas spearheaded the turned over of the Evacuation Center project, which included rooms for breastfeeding mothers and senior citizens, as well as a male and female comfort room, for a total of ₱5,989,972.07. The barangay council, led by Bagumbayan Barangay Captain Thelma Sumaljag, formally accepted the project.

 

The activity was attended by Second District Board Members Atty. Carmelo Delos Cientos III and Atty. Anna Margarita A. Reasonable, Congressional Chief of Staff Irick Agbon, Atty. Riafe Cagas-Fernandez, Matanao Mayor Vincent Fernandez, some municipal councilors, Magsaysay Deputy Governor Jhun Reyes, and others.

 

Sumaljag extended his heartfelt thanks to the governor, especially the late and former Governor Douglas Cagas, who approved the said project.
