Capitol Employees Undergo Surprise Random Drug Test

A surprise random drug test is currently being conducted for department heads in the capitol, including some employees of the governor’s office, the administrator’s office, and the administrative services office, today, November 28, 2022.

 

SAPG Marc Cagas first took a drug test, which resulted in a negative for the use of shabu and marijuana. Governor Yvonne Roña Cagas also submitted to a drug test, setting an example for the workers.

 

This unexpected random drug test was performed under the control of PDEA agents and PADAC-MAPALAD personnel. This was done through the implementation of the provisions of Provincial Ordinance No.2037, often known as the Drug-Free Workplace Ordinance, into effect.
