Vaccination Campaign Program for Health Workers at Private Hospitals in Digos City, Matanao, and RHU Malalag

Today is the first day of the Vaccination Campaign Program for health workers at private hospitals in Digos City, Matanao, and the Rural Health Unit (RHU) in Malalag, Davao del Sur.

 

According to the Provincial Health Office (PHO), level 2 hospitals such as Gonzales Maranan Medical Center, Inc., Digos Doctor Hospital, Medical Center of Digos Cooperative (MCDC), Sunga Hospital, St. Benedict Hospital of Davao del Sur, Inc., Dominican Hospital, and Llanos Hospital are currently conducting vaccinations as well as the RHU in Malalag.

 

COVID-19 vaccines such as AstraZeneca and Sinovac are being administered to medical health staff in public and private hospitals in the province. The DOH Davao Region recently sent 2,000 Sinovac and 500 AstraZeneca doses to the Davao del Sur Provincial Hospital (DSPH).

 

Governor Douglas Cagas announced the activity earlier this morning during the Monday Convocation Program at the Coliseum, saying that the government is doing so to prevent the virus from spreading, and that everyone will be able to help by continuing to follow the minimum public health protocols.
