Darapuay Receives 3 Multi-Million Peso Projects

Grateful are the people of Barangay Darapuay in Bansalan, Davao del Sur as they received three multi-million peso projects today, November 23, 2022.

On behalf of Governor Yvonne Roรฑa Cagas, SAPG Marc Cagas, alongside Board Members Rey Ayo and Dr. Frank Tongcos, spearheaded the turnover ceremony of the newly concreted 1km Andres Awe Road to Purok 9 worth P10-Million, newly concreted 800-meter Andagberang Road to Purok 9 worth P8-Million, and the newly improved barangay gymnasium worth P3-Million.

The Farm-to-Market Roads (FMR) were materialized through the Local Government Support Fund, a Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), and were implemented by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur. Meanwhile, the repairs to their gymnasium were funded under the CY 2022 AIP (20% Development Fund) of the provincial government.
These projects, with a combined budget of around P21-Million, are very beneficial to the aforementioned barangay.

Bansalan Mayor Edwin Reyes, Deputy Governor Quirina Sarte, PNP, AFP, barangay officials, residents, and others graced the activity.
