A 370-meter concrete road (called Domingo Road) worth 5 million pesos was formally turned over by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur at Barangay Marber in Bansalan.
Governor Douglas Cagas spearheaded the turnover ceremony which was attended by Jeuffrey R. Paler, Secondary School Principal III of Marber National High School, Barangay Zone 2 Councilor Sheila Cagas, barangay officials led by Marber Brgy. Captain Alejandro D. Mainit, Project Engineer Luzviminda Cansancio, residents around the area, and others.
Barangay Captain Mainit and Councilor Silvestre Sanguenza both expressed their gratitude to the governor that the Domingo Road has been concreted. They said that they had been suffering for a long time but Governor Cagas has made their dream possible.
The road would benefit not only the residents of Barangay Marber, but also those who transport goods from Magsaysay and other places in Davao del Sur.
