Groundbreaking Ceremony in Sitio Lawisan, Barangay Saliducon, for the construction of two classrooms with a comfort room
Despite the remoteness of the area, the residents of Barangay Saliducon in Sta. Cruz were grateful that the government’s project had reached them.
The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) program, which is being implemented by the Davao del Sur Provincial Government, formally held the groundbreaking ceremony in Sitio Lawisan, Barangay Saliducon, for the construction of two (2) classrooms with a comfort room, at a cost of ₱2,948,500.00.
DSPPO Provincial Director PCOL Geussepe Geralde representing PRO XI Regional Director PBGEN Filmore Escobal, 73rd Infantry Battalion Commander LTCOL Antonio Quimado, Jr., Provincial Development Planning Officer Imelda Rebuyon representing Gov Marc Cagas, DILG Project Evaluation Officer II Mel Angelica Flores, RPSB Team Leader PLT Joseph Orbell Pojas, Saliducon Barangay Captain Peter Demon Sombilon, and others graced the event.
The construction of the structure that will serve as their Vocational Technical School, according to Brgy. Captain Sombilon, will be of extremely helpful to the people.
