he Lease Agreement between members of the Navales-Tablizo Homeowners Association and the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) was signed at the Provincial Capitol of Davao del Sur today, December 17, 2020.

 

On the same event, the SHFC also handed over the Letter of Guarantee to the landowner, represented by Atty. Christy Alquiza.

 

Thanks to the great assistance of the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur under the Cagas Administration, the dream of owning a house and a lot for the 133 members was fulfilled. Headed by Mr. Fidel Franco, the Office for Special Programs made the effort to organize and run the paperwork and other conditions for the SHFC to authorize it. The capitol will also invest in putting more soil to flatten the area, according to the order of Gov. Douglas Cagas.

 

More than two hectares of land worth more than 19 million pesos would be paid for by SHFC. It is situated behind the Capitol area in Barangay Matti, Digos City. Members will pay a monthly fee for 30 years on their 100-square-meter lot. Other than the lot, SHFC also processed the request of the association where they can build a house that they will also pay at very low-interest rates within 30 years.
