800 Beneficiaries of the Emergency Employment Program (EPP) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

The payout of 800 beneficiaries of the Emergency Employment Program (EPP) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) was held today at the Davao del Sur Coliseum, Matti, Digos City.

 

Congressional Staff Sir Irick Agbon said Congresswoman Mercedes Cagas herself made the effort to support the people here in Davao del Sur by providing the funds through the DOLE. The recipients have received P6,000.00 each after undergoing fifteen and a half (15 1/2) days of work in their respective barangays with a salary of P396.00 a day.

 

Gov. Douglas Cagas attended the event and advised the beneficiaries to appropriately budget the assistance they received so that it can be used to purchase essential household necessities, especially since the yuletide season has begun.
