Another association received 200,000 pesos in livelihood assistance from the Davao del Sur Provincial Government today (July7) at Tamlangon Gymnasium in Matanao.

Board Member Atty. Merlin Bello and Livelihood Program Manager Reynel Dalapo spearheaded the turnover of the said assistance to 52 members of the Tamlangon Women’s Workers Association (TWWA), headed by their president, Jocelyn Etac, which will be used as additional capital for their coconut husk production project.

On behalf of Matanao Mayor Vincent Fernandez, Vice Mayor Irick Agbon extended his heartfelt thanks to Governor Yvonne Cagas for fulfilling her promise to continue on the late and former Governor Douglas Cagas’ legacy, which Agbon strongly supports.

Also present during the event were Matanao Municipal Councilor Melanie Maniapao, Tamlangon Barangay Captain Roberto Legaspi, some barangay officials, and others.
