Another batch of Assistance worth 6.7 million pesos from the TUPAD Program is being distributed

Another batch of assistance worth 6.7 million pesos from the Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers’ (TUPAD) Program is being distributed by the Davao del Sur Provincial Government, under the leadership of Governor Douglas Cagas, and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), which is funded by the National Government thanks to the efforts of Congresswoman Mercedes Chan-Cagas.

Present today are Provincial Administrator Atty. Herbert R. Gonzales, DOLE Provincial Director Engr. Reynaldo Dennis Badiles, Labor and Employment Officer II Livelihood Focal Ms. Eizarina Roselle Delos Santos, Ms. Liwanag Velarde from the office of Congresswoman Cagas, DOLE personnel, Cagas Cares Coordinators, and program beneficiaries which is held at the Sports Complex Grounds, Matti, Digos City.

A total of 1,704 individuals from the municipalities of Hagonoy, Padada, Sulop, Magsaysay, Matanao, and Malalag in Davao del Sur would get 3,960 pesos each in support for those affected by the pandemic.
