Gov. Douglas Cagas spearheaded the turnover of 23 units motorized banca to the Talisay Cogon Digos City Moro Farmers & Fisherfolks Association (TCDCMMFA) who are members of Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), today, at Sitio Biao, Barangay Cogon, Digos City.

 

The gillnet fishing project worth P952,000 was sponsored by PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn (PAMANA) Program under the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and implemented by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur.

 

TCDCMMFA President Mr. Archie Basilan alongside his members sincerely accepted the ceremonial key to take full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the motorized banca.

 

Present during the event were Provincial PAMANA Coordinator Mr. Jupiter Labajo, barangay officials headed by Edgardo Englis, and residents around the area. (PIO|ZFD)
