“To ensure that the Provincial Government will continue to run, we shall continue with our alternative work plan so that there will be first, second, or third teams that will ensure the continuety of services to our clients because this is our paramount obligation to our people of Davao del Sur, that at the very least we should be able to function all departments of the Provincial Government. There will be a time for everything, a time for us to mourn for my father, Governor Cagas, ” Governor Marc Cagas said during the flag ceremony this morning at the Capitol Grounds, Matti, Digos City.
The young governor advised those working from home to perform their tasks. He also instructed employees to follow minimum public health protocols and urged everyone to get vaccinated, much like his father, former and late Governor Duglas Cagas always says.
Governor Cagas also directed department heads to take precautions, such as placing acrylic glass or plastic on every office desk, to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
In addition, everyone observed a minute of silence in honor of former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, who died recently.
